Discipleship has been called the great omission as it is something missing for many of us as followers of Christ. It was Jesus in Matthew 28:19, 20 who told His closest followers to "make disciples." It is truly the Great Commission. Imagine the Son of God crucified for our sin, buried and risen and sharing something of the highest importance with His followers. What a scene. What an electric atmosphere must have surrounded them all as He spoke and said, "Go, make disciples."
We don't want to miss something that was of such importance to the Lord so it is our intention to make disciples. Every age and every stage of person gets to be involved in the process. It is intentional and organic. It is relational and personal. It is methodical and mysterious. It is costly and rewarding. It is transformational and uncontainable.
